THE COURT HAS COMPLETED THE BANKRUPTCY OF SOCHIMORSTROY
The Sochimorstroy company, which was engaged in the construction of the Imereti port in Sochi, has completed the bankruptcy process (case no. A32-45012/2018). The Krasnodar Arbitration Court (AS CC) issued a ruling on this case on September 28. Judge Olga Kovalskaya granted the petition of the bankruptcy trustee (KU) Vladimir Tolstenko. The registering authority was instructed to make a record of the liquidation of the company in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

The initiator of the bankruptcy of the largest hydrostructure of the Russian Federation was the law firm A-lex Group, which filed for bankruptcy of Sochimorstroy. In 2018, Sochimorstroy showed a net loss of 156.1 million with revenue of 466.5 million. The debt was 121.8 million rubles.

In February 2019, the arbitration recognized the application of A-Lex Group as justified and introduced a monitoring procedure. In the fall of 2019, the organization received the status of bankrupt. The volume of creditors' claims amounted to 124 million.

At the beginning of 2020, the company closed the debts to its employees that had accumulated over 2019. By that time, their amount exceeded 31 million rubles. The Sochi Transport Prosecutor's Office intervened in the case.

The sale of the company's core assets (97 lots) took place in October 2020. As a result of the auction, it was possible to gain 241 million. Prior to that, KU put up for auction a floating crane, the implementation of which allowed to receive 44 million rubles.

According to the latest KU report, the organization does not have any property assets, and the creditors' claims were 100% satisfied. In such circumstances, it would be inappropriate to continue bankruptcy proceedings. As a result, the court agreed with these conclusions and dismissed the case.

The Sochimorstroy company was formed on the production base of the Plavstroyotryad, which worked during the Soviet period. In 2004, the company became a link of the corporation "Injtransstroy". Subsequently, it came under the management of Transstroy, part of the Basic Element group of companies, which was the base investor of the Sochi Olympic construction site. The beneficiary of the holding was Oleg Deripaska.

According to 2012 data, Sochimorstroy's revenue was over 5.6 billion rubles. Among the organization's projects were complex hydraulic structures: the Rosneft berth in Tuapse, the Ust-Luga container terminal, the Kozmino special oil seaport and the Imereti port in Sochi.
