The bankrupt defense plant "39 Arsenal" was finally liquidated
The bankruptcy proceedings that ended the bankruptcy of 39 Arsenal JSC did not allow saving the company from liquidation. Information about the company was finally removed from the register of legal entities on June 17, 2022. The creditors' claims to the organization could not be repaid.
The company "39 Arsenal" specialized in the repair and maintenance of defense equipment. In particular, large-caliber artillery systems and anti-tank missile systems were being upgraded at the plant.
The bankruptcy of the company began in 2017.
By the time the organization moved to the stage of bankruptcy proceedings (this happened in September 2018), the company's debts to creditors reached almost 300 million rubles. At the same time, most of the debt (197.7 million rubles) was controlled by the company "Spetsremont", part of Rostec. The plant itself was considered a strategic organization at that time.
On April 26, 2022, the arbitration decided to complete the stage of bankruptcy proceedings. For several years, while the bankruptcy was going on, the bankruptcy trustee included debts in the amount of 356.3 million rubles in the register of claims to the organization.
An attempt to sell the defense plant for 275.9 million rubles, which was undertaken in January 2020, was unsuccessful.
As a result, the company's property was sold with proceeds of 60 million rubles, which were spent on paying off current liabilities.
It is known that the entire bankruptcy procedure cost the company 1.1 million rubles. And since no other property was found at the company, it was decided to complete bankruptcy and subsequent liquidation.
