Bashkir arbitration has completed a process that lasted more than 13 years. The procedure in relation to Sterlitamak – M.T.E. was completed at the request of Alexander Nudelman, who performed the functions of the bankruptcy trustee. As he said in his petition, all activities have been completed.
All the property that could be sold turned out to be sold. It was not possible to find any assets of the plant that could still be realized. The plant does not have any real estate or vehicles left.
According to the court ruling, the machine tool company owed its 27 creditors almost 800 million rubles. At the same time, during the bankruptcy period, as RBC clarifies, it was possible to repay debts in the amount of 110.7 million. It was possible to do this mainly due to the property that was pledged. Thus, 13.9% of creditors' claims were repaid.
After the bankruptcy procedure was completed, the capital firm "Mars" applied to arbitration. According to her, the company has not handed over 11 previously ordered machines. However, the arguments of the representative of the organization were not heard by the court. The bankruptcy was terminated.
Sterlitamak Machine Tool Plant was one of the largest manufacturers of CNC machines in Russia. The plant began to work during the war years, when an enterprise from Odessa, which existed in the pre-revolutionary period, was evacuated. During the years of perestroika, the plant was privatized and re-registered in 1998.
The bankruptcy process began in 2010. The main beneficiaries of the enterprise were the German company B&D Holz GmbH, which owns a third of the company and the ex-head of the plant Vladimir Zharinov (32.21% share).
Soon the production facilities were transferred under the control of GC "Stan". In Sterlitamak, the NGO "Machine Tool Building" appeared, operating on the basis of the plant. And in 2012, the arbitration court declared the plant bankrupt, opening bankruptcy proceedings. In 2015, Nudelman announced that the Sterlitamak Industrial Association would be created on the basis of the plant. The company was registered in the same place where the NGO "Machine Tool Building" and "Sterlitamak – M.T.E." were previously located.
