Rostov restaurant chain "Eat and drink" no longer exists
A popular catering chain in Rostov-on-Don was liquidated by the decision of its owner.  Business founder Vadim Kalinich announced the loss of prospects for developing the restaurant format.  He believes that such a model of entrepreneurial activity, including the creation and sale of products, is archaic in the current conditions.

The restaurant chain he created a decade and a half ago has stopped working since January 2022.  The firm operated the “Antorekot” and “Apron” restaurants and others, many of which turned out to be unprofitable due to the pandemic.

In 2019, the entrepreneur was the organizer of a street festival, which was attended by musicians of “The Largest Prime Number” and Therr Maitz bands.  It was also closed due to the complaints of local residents who did not like the loud sounds of music late at night.
One of the most famous establishments in Rostov was the “Bukovsky” restaurant.
It was often visited by celebrities, but  stopped working in the very first year of the pandemic.

In September 2020, Vadim Kalinich himself was officially declared insolvent.  His debt to VTB bank reached 758 thousand rubles.

The bankruptcy resulted in the sale of a part of his personal property.  It lasted until August 24 last year.  The total amount of liabilities to creditors reached 35.9 million rubles.
As a result, the businessman turned out to be completely disappointed with the previously established catering establishments, gastropubs and steakhouses.
It is not yet clear whether the Schneider Weisse restaurant, founded by Kalinich, will continue to operate.  It is currently managed by Mega-Fresh.  Its main beneficiary is United Russia MP Ashot Khblikyan.
