PLYWOOD BANKRUPTCY: USTYELLES WAS TAKEN UNDER SURVEILLANCE
Vologda Arbitration on February 15 introduced surveillance in the company "Ustyelles" (No. A13-16367/2018). The court appointed Alexey Yakovlev as interim manager. The company, which has been operating since April 2012, owns a plywood factory in the city of Sokol.

From 2012 to 2018, the head of the enterprise was the deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly Vladimir Sverchkov. However, his relationship with the founder of the company Sergey Popov turned out to be difficult.

In 2012, Popov issued a 49% share of the organization's capital to Sverchkov. The rest of the company was received by his relative (presumably aunt) Lyubov Ganina. The entrepreneur signed the donation agreement in Rosreestr on April 1, 2013.

In 2017, Ganina unexpectedly replaced the head of the company, removing Sverchkov from office. Denis Liukkonen was appointed to the role of the head of the company, who remained in this role until July 17, 2018. The court found the removal of Sverchkov illegal. However, he did not have to return to the management of the enterprise.

The bankruptcy procedure of Sergey Popov, who was declared insolvent in 2019, has begun. His share transfer transactions, executed in 2013, were declared invalid. The financial manager petitioned the court to appoint a management company to Ustyelles. As a result, the company "SV Group" under the leadership of Andrey Shprygov became the beneficiary of the organization.

The redistribution of property that began at the company in 2020 brought Sergei Popov to court. The 34-year-old entrepreneur was placed under house arrest in June on suspicion of a number of crimes (Articles 159, 197 and 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and his bankruptcy was called fictitious.

Ustyelles was to implement an investment project worth 465 million rubles. For him, the authorities have allocated plantations in several districts. A deal was signed with the plant for 224 thousand cubic meters of wood. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has included the organization in the register of its priorities. The plant itself was completed only in 2022.

Now the plant has suspended operations. Employees were informed that the measure is temporary and necessary for the modernization of the enterprise. After the process is over, the whole team will be able to return to their jobs again. At the same time, about 90 employees were officially cut. According to the management, the modernization of the enterprise will begin on April 10. About 85 million rubles should be spent on it.
