Investment and construction company of Yamal went bankrupt
The Arbitration Court declared the insolvency of the ‘ISK YANAO’ company from Salekhard.  The company, which is 90% owned by the city authorities, turned out to be in debt to the tax authorities in the amount of 3.7 million rubles.  The investment and construction company owes more than 12 million rubles of penalties to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Housing Fund.

The bankruptcy process, initiated about a year ago by the Federal Tax Service, led to the introduction of external management at the enterprise in February 2021. However, it was not possible to cope with the crisis situation this year.  As a result, the amount of creditors' claims against the company exceeded 44 million rubles.
Previously, the company was actively involved in the program of resettlement of residents of the region from hazardous housing.
In particular, several apartments were purchased from the organization for this purpose in a building built and commissioned in 2019.

At the same time, in recent years, the company, as noted by the local experts, has been generating losses.  Over the past year, it  lost 14.8 million rubles.  The situation worsened by a fourfold drop in revenue, amounting to 3.8 million rubles.

The co-owner of ISK YANAO is Mikhail Babiychuk, a former deputy of the Salekhard City Duma.  He owns 10% of the authorized capital of the company, and he was its head for a long time.
In 2019, he was suspected of trying to hide 20 million rubles from the tax control.
While the investigators were engaged in the criminal case, the arrears were fully returned to the budget.
