Inflot cruise tour operator enters bankruptcy proceedings
The priority partner of the Royal Caribbean Cruises company in Russia, Inflot Cruises and Travels, was taken under supervision by the capital's arbitration tribunal.  The bankruptcy proceedings were introduced by a court ruling on October 20, 2021 and are planned to be carried out until April 18.

The initiator of Inflot's bankruptcy (INN 7730092487) was the GUSIB company, which filed an application on July 9, 2021.  After the court had accepted the claim for consideration (case No. À40-145735), the defendant filed a motion to declare him bankrupt under a simplified procedure, since the organization was in the process of liquidation.  However, the court refused to satisfy the claim.
Inflot previously actively traded in vouchers, offering Russians various cruise programs (Norwegian Cruise Line, SilverSea Cruses, etc.).
However, against the backdrop of the pandemic, the tour operator actually ceased its activities.  Last April, the company was removed from the register of travel companies as it did not make last year's contributions to the personal liability insurance fund.

According to the RST press service, the company's behavior in the market of tourist services caused a scandal associated with a complaint from travel agencies in Primorye.  It turned out that the regional agencies bought cabins from the company on cruise ships Royal Caribbean and Costa Cruses, having paid about 15 million rubles.  This had been done even before the World Healthcare Organization officially recognized the pandemic.  At the same time, the money for the paid cabins was not returned.
In the summer of 2021, the company was first taken out of service by Costa Cruises, after it discovered that the prepayment for the booking had not been received from the company.
Later, the American cruise operator Royal Caribbean excluded the company from the list of partners in Russia.  Experts suggest that the monitoring process may reveal millions of debts that Inflot has accumulated in relation to its partners.  Information from foreign partners about the amount of debt has not yet been received
