H&M announces suspension of work in Russia and Ukraine
Last night, the Swedish clothing and home goods brand H&M announced its decision to suspend the chain's work in Russia and Ukraine.  This is due to the current situation between the countries and the intention of brand to support all the people suffering now.

The announcement of the suspension was posted on the brand's official website on Wednesday evening.

It says that the H&M Group has come to the decision to temporarily suspend sales of all company products in the Russian Federation.

As for the Ukrainian outlets, they stopped work due to a security threat for both employees and customers. The company assured that the dynamics of the current situation is being   monitored, and brand representatives are in dialogue with each of the stakeholders.

H&M Group noted that the company joins all those who stand for peace. As a financial support, the brand made a donation to the Save the Children Foundation, as well as UNHCR.

H&M was founded in Sweden in the middle of the last century and is currently represented in 75 countries around the world. In Russia, the company serves over 150 points of sale, which demonstrates the seventh position in the overall ranking of countries in terms of the number of brand stores in the world.
