EX-CO-OWNER OF "KUCUKSULFAT" BECAME BANKRUPT

66-year-old entrepreneur Vasily Gamayunov, who once chaired the board of directors of the company "Kucuksulfat" (JSC), received the status of bankrupt (case no. A45-10021/2023). The decision on this was made by the Novosibirsk Arbitration Court on June 16, 2023. Alexey Sorokin, representing the AUU "Solidarity", was approved as the financial manager.

Gamayunov, a former employee of the KGB of the USSR and the FSB of the Russian Federation, became the head of Kuchuksulfate in 2019. The company is located in the village. Stepnoye (Altai Krai), is one of the most important Russian enterprises supplying sodium sulfate to Russian and foreign enterprises. The company is the only manufacturer of mirabilite (Glauber's salt) in the Russian Federation.

The individual entrepreneur filed for bankruptcy on April 13. According to the media, the reason was Gamayunov's overdue debt - 36.528 million rubles. In May, his application was accepted by the arbitration court for production.

The businessman pointed out that since March 2005 he has been married to 37-year-old Valeria Gamayunova. He is dependent on two minor children (born in 2010 and 2006). He also owns various real estate (residential and non-residential premises, plots of land and places for parking vehicles).

The arbitration found that the entrepreneur's income (about 3.48 million for 6 months) does not allow him to pay off his debts on his own. The bank accounts of the sole proprietor were arrested by bailiffs in May 2023. Of the monthly pension in the amount of 35.9 thousand, half is withheld. The money is used to pay off the debt to Kuchuksulfat.

Previously, the entrepreneur was engaged in detective work, serving "Kucuksulfat". However, on December 22, the arbitration challenged the company's transactions with Vasily Gamayunov. The businessman was ordered to return 36.348 million, which was paid to him in 2020. The contract on detective services itself, signed in August 2012, was declared invalid.

In November, the Gagarin District Court recovered more than 211.3 million rubles from the entrepreneur. The claim was filed by the regional prosecutor's office. The Supervisory Authority considered that the payment of dividends to Kuchuksulfate in 2019-2021 has no grounds.

The relations of "Kucuksulfat" and Gamayunov interested the prosecutor's office of the Altai Territory and in the line of criminal investigation. It is reported that the embezzlement and embezzlement (Article 160 of the Criminal Code, paragraph 4) continues to be under consideration by regional law enforcement officers. Investigators are studying the legality of the transactions that the businessman concluded with the firm.
