Casino located in Primorye is threatened with bankruptcy
A bankruptcy petition may be filed against the ‘Shambala’ casino located in the seaside region.  Corresponding threats are contained in the message of Lydia Zurnachyan posted on the ‘Fedresurs’ website. Experts suggest that the entrepreneur notified the organization of proceedings in accordance with the law, thereby trying to speed up the collection of the debt, determined by the decision of the arbitration court that came into force earlier.

According to the local media ‘Golden Bridge’, the reason for the conflict between the counterparties may be financial settlements associated with the construction of a number of gambling facilities.  Private business acted as a contractor in the construction process, being engaged in finishing the premises in the real estate objects that had already been commissioned.  At the same time, the terms of the construction itself were periodically delayed, which inevitably led to the disruption of contractual obligations on the part of the finishers.
After the construction work had been completed and the acts signed, Zurnachyan did not receive payment for the services, demanding money through arbitration.
On November 25, the court satisfied the claims of the individual entrepreneur, obliging ‘Shambala’ to pay 3.5 million rubles for the main obligations and another 1.4 million rubles for their delay (case No. À51-12747 / 2021).

According to open data, ‘Shambala’ NJSC has an authorized capital of 602 million rubles.  Moreover, the company's revenue in 2021 increased several times compared to 2020.  If last year the revenue figure was only 68 million rubles, this year the organization attracted about 361 million rubles.
Experts suggest that the current casino bankruptcy threats are unlikely to be brought to court.
For a company with serious financial resources, a debt of almost 5 million rubles is a problem that could be solved easily.  Unless there are no manipulations that the public does not yet know about behind such a delay in payments to contractors.
