A ‘FUEL KING’ FROM LIPETSK WENT BANKRUPT
Businessman Artur Shakhov was declared insolvent by the decision of the arbitration tribunal of the Lipetsk region. He is known as the owner of a company that operates a chain of gas stations. The businessman's debt amounted to more than 1.2 million rubles.

Shakhov became the ‘fuel king’ after the death of his father Viktor Shakhov. However, the ‘successor’ failed to retain the leadership. Five of the companies he owned went bankrupt or began liquidation proceedings. A company that used to sell motor oil was declared an unscrupulous supplier. And in the spring of this year, this title was given to the owner himself.
The arbitration court first introduced the restructuring of Shakhov's debts, having appointed a financial manager, who filed a petition with a request to start the sale of the debtor's property at an auction.
It turned out that Shakhov could not pay off the debts to creditors, since he did not have enough property. It was impossible to restore the entrepreneur's solvency in any other way, as it was reported in the case file. As a result, the court granted the petition and introduced a procedure for the sale of property.

Now, within six months, the manager will need to find Shakhov's assets, sort out the transactions concluded over the past few years, challenging those that raise doubts. And most important fact is that it is necessary to start forming the bankruptcy estate necessary to pay at least part of the debt to a commercial bank.
Along with the fuel business, Shakhov founded several more companies, one of which works in the field of medicine and another repairs electronics.
These companies have not yet gone bankrupt, but their condition can only be judged after the procedure is completed.
