KRASNOYARSK TERRITORY IS BEING ASKED TO BANKRUPT THE LEGENDARY ISKRA STATE FARM
At the end of November 2024, the Krasnoyarsk Arbitration Court received an application from farmer Sergey Baranchenko (case no. A33-36013/2024). He demanded that Iskra (LLC), the legendary agricultural enterprise of the region, be declared insolvent. The organization (formerly the state farm) was founded in the middle of the last century in order to supply employees of the Zelenogorsk Electrochemical Plant. The amount of claims is 8,011,328.34 rubles.
In 2022, the company was acquired by the Goldman Group, which was controlled by Roman Goldman. However, financial difficulties were not long in coming, and in 2023 the company showed significant losses. Its revenue decreased by 71%, and the net loss amounted to more than 330 million rubles.
The reason for filing several lawsuits earlier was Iskra's debt. In November 2023, Baranchenko filed an application demanding to recover 8 million from the defendant. Two weeks later, Ufa lawyer Vasily Kormilin filed a similar claim for 8.3 million to arbitration. Both applications were accepted for trial, and court hearings were held at the end of March 2024.
At the same time, the owner of the Goldman Group found himself at the center of a criminal investigation. It turned out that in 2023, Goldman borrowed 327 million from the Agro Asset Management company from the Moscow Region. The entrepreneur needed the money to cover his debts, and Iskra was offered as collateral. But it soon became clear that the businessman had no authority to sell Iskra.
In mid-2024, the former owner of the company, Andrey Kotelnikov, filed a lawsuit demanding that the sale of Iskra be recognized as fictitious and that 327 million rubles be returned. Kotelnikov claims that the real value of the enterprise is significantly higher than the amount for which it was sold (115 million). He claims that the sale was carried out solely in order to obtain a loan, which is confirmed by the negative reputation.
Roman Goldman has also been linked to fraudulent schemes at the Agro Deposit credit cooperative. About 1,000 shareholders who contributed funds to the organization's capital were left without 2 billion rubles. Goldman himself left the Russian Federation in November 2023, and was put on the international wanted list at the beginning of last year. On February 8, the court ordered his arrest in absentia. Now law enforcement agencies will have to solve the problem of the businessman's extradition to the Russian Federation.
