TYUMEN GAS STATION CHAIN IS CHANGING ITS BRAND DUE TO THE BANKRUPTCY OF THE EX-OWNER
The New Stream gas station chain is living out its last days in Tyumen. Soon, new signage under the Signal brand will appear at all network facilities, including the Automobile and gas filling station.

The new owner, according to RBC, plans to completely update his presence in the city in the period from three to six months.

The capital firm "Tradeproject" acquired the Tyumen gas station network in November 2023. The purchase price amounted to 714 million rubles. More than 30 objects were put up for auction as part of the insolvency of New Petroleum Tyumen. The bankrupt organization was associated with the Novy Potok Group of Companies, the owner of the Antipinsky Oil Refinery.

The company was declared bankrupt in December 2020. The initiator of the bankruptcy was the Moscow Credit Bank, which demanded 2.5 billion rubles from the defendant. The buyer of the Antipinsky Oil Refinery was Rusinvest, which offered 110.9 billion rubles for the lot.

The current owner of the network received more than 4.2 billion in revenue in 2023, increasing its volume by 38.7%. The company ended the financial year with a loss of 17 million. In 2022, the organization was profitable (profit amounted to 87.9 million).

In July 2022, Rusbankrot announced the bankruptcy of New Stream Group. Following the parent company, other legal entities that were part of Dmitry Mazurov's oil holding went into bankruptcy.

The main owner of the holding was previously sentenced to 10 years in prison. The businessman was recognized as a fraudster, and was also accused of embezzlement of financial resources and assault on Julia Milstein.
