The court left the 100 million rubles claim against Chanel without action

A multimillion-dollar lawsuit filed against the famous French brand the day before was left without action.  The reasons for this were the shortcomings found in the application.  Now the initiators of the case will have to eliminate them before mid-May, otherwise the claim will be returned.

We should recall that earlier three people appealed to the Basmanny Court of Moscow with a clhttps://aim challenging the position of Chanel boutiques on a ban on the sale of goods worth more than 299 € to Russians.  The applicants considered this a violation of their rights and demanded compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 100 million rubles from the fashion house, RIA Novosti reports.

However, the day before, the court ruled to leave the lawsuit without action until May 12 due to the shortcomings identified in it, Caution, Moscow reports, citing a source of the court.

Such a procedure is provided for by the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation and is applied when correctable procedural errors made by the plaintiff are found.

As a rule, when they are eliminated within the period established by the court, the latter accepts the case for consideration and sets the date of the first hearing.
