5 YEARS PROBATION: BANKRUPTCY TRUSTEE CONVICTED OF COMMERCIAL BRIBERY

The manager was sentenced to five years in prison on probation with a probation period of four years. He was also fined one and a half million rubles and banned from carrying out professional activities as an arbitration manager for three years.

As noted, in 2017, the accused agreed to help the head of the enterprise close the bankruptcy procedure for 300 thousand rubles. Thus, the bankruptcy trustee prepared a motion to terminate the proceedings in the case and sent it to the Arbitration Court of the Vladimir region.

However, later the head of "NSK-33" appealed to the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Vladimir region and himself told about the commercial bribery of the manager. Law enforcement agencies conducted an "operational experiment" and concluded that the accused had indeed received the above amount for fulfilling this request.
