VISITORS OF CYPRUS HOTELS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SEND AN SMS TO LEAVE THE HOTEL

The authorities of Cyprus have developed a special program that will help to ensure a safe stay for holidaymakers. Tourists will be able to leave the territory of hotels no more than 2-3 times a day and only by SMS permission.

According to The Cyprus Mail, travelers who have problems sending messages will be able to get special printed forms from hotels. They will say that a person lives in a particular hotel and belongs to an organized group of tourists or leaves the territory on his (her) own for a specific purpose.

Vacationers will be able to leave the hotels twice a day on weekdays and three times on weekends.

A similar rule applies to all other residents of Cyprus, as the access to the streets is limited. We should recall that from April 1, Russian tourists are permitted to visit the island without staying at the quarantine area. However, you will need to take a coronavirus test no later than 72 hours before departure, and then upon arrival at the Cyprus airport.

In addition, Russians will need to get a visa and have a Cyprus Flight Pass. The obligatory PCR test at the Cyprus airport will have to be passed at your own expense and will cost 30-32 euros.
