The Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the requirement for mandatory wearing of masks in public places throughout the country. The measure was introduced due to the lack of social distance, which led to an increase in cases of coronavirus.
Another requirement is a ban on standing in public transport. However, assumptions are possible if the social distance is maintained. What is more, the ban on concerts was reintroduced, including in cafes and hotels.
The resumption of flights between Russia and Turkey took place on August 1.
According to official data, more than 281 thousand people were infected with the coronavirus in Turkey: 251 105 patients recovered, 6673 died. As for the Russians who came to spend their vacations, 12 people were diagnosed with coronavirus.
