TURKISH AIRPORTS WILL CARRY OUT COMPULSORY TESTS FOR COVID-19

Turkish authorities are planning to maintain the strict rules even after the pandemic. It is already known that a medical certificate with up-to-date information on the state of health of the newcomer will be required to enter the country.

Moreover, from the beginning of summer, all guests and residents of the country will be tested for the presence of coronavirus at the airports. In particular, this will affect the resort areas for obvious reasons - tourists whose tests positive are positive, will be isolated in the hotel rooms. This was stated by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the country Mehmet Ersoy.

The nearest plans of the Ministry of Health are to organize laboratories that will specialize in testing all the visitors of the Turkish airports, as well as the people, crossing large border points. First of such points will be organized in Antalya, Kapykule and Ipsala.

It is assumed that the testing time will take no more than 2-3 minutes and will be carried out before passing through the passport control.

However, the result will have to be waited for - it will be known after 5-6 hours, as a result, a decision will be made on the isolation of the tourist.

We should note that, according to the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan, the quarantine precautions in the country will be weakened in the nearest future. Read about the future tourist season in Turkey in our material “To be or not to be for an all-inclusive system in Turkey?”
