TURKEY HAS RAISED THE PRICES OF HOTELS FOR RUSSIAN TOURISTS
Turkish hotels and airlines have increased prices for the Russian market. At the same time, the cost of holidays for Europeans remained at the same level, said Aleksan Mkrtchyan, Vice President of the Alliance of Travel Agencies of Russia (ATA).
"Turkish hotels have raised prices in euros for Russian partners by an average of 20% compared to last year," Aleksan Mkrtchyan told Izvestia.
According to him, Turkey understands that Russians simply have no alternatives for vacations abroad.
The ATA President also shared that in order to attract tourists, Turkey is going to outright cheating." So, back in the middle of spring, luxury Turkish hotels allegedly had no empty seats for summer dates. Today, the high load has magically disappeared – the rooms are available for booking.
The expert advises citizens not to rush with booking hotels and air tickets to Turkey for July and August. According to him, the cost of tours may probably become cheaper.
