TIMATI LEAVES THE BLACK STAR BUSINESS

Musician Timur Yunusov, known as Timati, announced his intention to leave Black Star. However, he will retain a stake in a number of label projects.

In his Instagram, Timati announced that from now on he would be an independent agent with a full catalog and trademarks. At the same time, he would have a share in the Black Star burger, car washes and go-karts. Timati explained that he disagreed with his partners in the question of vision of the label - they want to make Black Star something like Google or Amazon, and Yunusov is closer to Elon Musk's concept.

We should recall that Black Star was Timati's own label, now it will have nothing in common with the brand's artists.

Beauty salons, fitness centers and Black Star hairdressing salons will belong to Timati.

The musician announced that he would pursue his own career and would release a new album in September. Timati said that his decision to leave the label was not a spontaneous decision. He also recalled that Black Star became the only "umbrella" brand in Russia.
