THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION: NEW RESTRICTIONS MAY BE INTRODUCED IN RUSSIA DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Melita Vuynovich, the Russian representative of the WHO, reported on the possibility of re-introducing the restrictions in the country because of the danger of the spread of coronavirus.
Vuynovich explains the possible resumption of restrictions by the fact that citizens violate all the prohibitions - the number of cases increases due to this.
According to RIA Novosti, the representative of WHO believes that the possibility of resuming the restrictions will remain until the creation of the vaccine against COVID-19.
Vuynovich urged everyone to be prepared for restrictions and not wait until the situation again turns into a big threat to the human health and the country's economy.
It is worth noting that in some countries and even in parts of the Russian regions, the restrictions have already been re-introduced, and therefore we should not abuse the sanitary and epidemiological requirements and be overly optimistic.
Over the past day, the number of infected in Russia has amounted to 6635 people. Moscow still leads in the number of cases, followed by Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Sverdlovsk Regions. At the same time, the maximum level of restrictions remains in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and in the Republic of Tuva.
We should recall that the mask regime has been canceled in Moscow on July 13by the order of Sobyanin, and the cinemas and concert venues will start operating on August 1.
