The opening of the of the Public Reception Office under the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in the city of Moscow

On March 20, the Public Reception Office under the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs on anti-corruption and business security issues was opened In Moscow. There are 10 more such offices in the city that are actively working now. The purpose of creating Public Reception Offices is to assist the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the city of Moscow in fulfilling his duties and achieving goals.

Public Reception Offices are the expert and analytical consulting centers, working on a voluntary basis and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the entrepreneurs. Representatives of the business community can receive not only legal support, but also improve their legal literacy.

At the opening of the Public Reception Offices at the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in Moscow on anti-corruption and business security issues, the Ethical Memorandum was signed, as well as an agreement with experts of the pro bono publico institute. Representatives of the Prefecture and the Prosecutor's Office of the Central Administrative District, heads of Public Reception at the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights, as well as experts of the pro bono publico institute, were invited to participate in the event. 

“The work of the new Public Reception Office at the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the city of Moscow on the issues of combating corruption and business security consolidates the efforts of public Commissioners, experts, as well as the efforts of the representatives of state authorities in the field of protecting the rights of the entrepreneurs. The participants in the business community will receive another tool for additional legal assessment, further consideration and decision-making,” said Tatyana Mineeva, Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of the City of Moscow.

“The aim of this work, of course, is to stop any attempts of administrative pressure on business, to prevent the entrepreneurial activity from the intervention of law enforcement agencies. We should note that we already have certain results”, said Bogdan Petrovich Kostenetsky, prosecutor of the Central Administrative District of the city of Moscow.

“We will host the entrepreneurs of the whole Moscow region. The main specialization of our reception is business protection and anti-corruption. The reception office will be open from Monday to Friday from 9 to 18 PM. The reception office will also have a mobile headquarters to work in all areas of the Moscow region and to be able to quickly reach the places, where immediate business assistance is required ”, said Vladimir Kuznetsov, head of the Public Reception Office under the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in the city of Moscow.

 

“We are aimed at the maximum business consulting on all available issues. The main task is to protect the business from excessive administrative pressure. We are counting on the Moscow prosecutor’s office in this difficult struggle. ” Vladimir Kuznetsov noted that “we receive calls with the questions, where to turn on a matter of the violation of certain rights, how to behave in certain situations in order not to break the law. We are ready to begin explanatory work with entrepreneurs, which will consist of seminars. ”

“Our department has the most important task in terms of preventing corruption offenses. I want to assure that the Moscow government is primarily interested in making all existing procedures for interaction between businessmen and government representatives as transparent as possible, ”said Pavlov Alexander Yuryevich, Deputy Head of the Department of Regional Security and Anti-Corruption in Moscow.

A mobile public reception, which is a minivan, has also been presented. This equipped car will be able to travel to entrepreneurs for consultations.
