The growing confrontation between the people of Belarus and the security forces after the presidential elections began to acquire unexpected consequences.

Several videos of the officers working for the elite forces, who publicly threw away their uniforms, have appeared on Instagram. One of the posts was published on the page of Evgeny Novitsky, who announced that he was no longer able to be proud of his place of duty. He noted that he did not want not only to wear a uniform, but even to keep it at home. After that, the man put the uniform and the beret into the trash can.

The second post was published on the page of Artem Belinovich, who, with the words that “the Belarusian special forces brotherhood in Belarus no longer exists,” threw the beret into the trash can.

At the same time, there is more and more information about the aggressive behavior of the security forces towards the protesters in Belarus. People are massively detained, beaten, and the stun grenades, rubber bullets and even pump-action guns are used against them.

At the moment, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus has officially confirmed information about two victims.

A wave of indignation swept across the country after the announcement of the results of the presidential elections, in which, according to official data, Alexander Lukashenko, who has held this post for 26 years, won by a colossal margin in the first voting .
