THE NEW EPIDEMIC OF CORONAVIRUS WAS DECLARED IN MONTENEGRO

An increase in the incidence of coronavirus was recorded in Montenegro. Due to this, the country's Government decided to declare an epidemic on the night of July 22.

According to official data, over the past day, 612 residents of Montenegro have been tested for coronavirus - 98 of them turned out to be infected. Since the start of the "second wave", 1920 patients have been registered in the country, 26 of them have died.

The mandatory wearing of masks has been reintroduced in Montenegro on July 22.

Indoor gatherings of more than 20 people and outdoor gatherings over 40 people are prohibited. It is forbidden to hold weddings and birthday parties until August 6, and the ban on the work of clubs and disco bars has also been extended until this date. A ban on live music performances in restaurants has been introduced until August 30.

Cafes and restaurants are still working, but in a reduced mode - in different regions of the country their schedule varies.

Recall that in May, Montenegro announced a complete victory over the coronavirus - not a single infected person remained in the country. The authorities are confident that new cases have appeared because of people who came from other countries. At the moment, political and religious gatherings are also prohibited in Montenegro.
