The incidence of covid increased sharply in July-August.

It is noted that in comparison with the beginning of August to the middle of August, the incidence increased by 2.5 times. The number of cases reached 28 thousand people per day, which was last recorded in March.

Due to the increase in the number of patients in Buryatia, a mandatory mask regime was re-introduced. In Altai, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan, the wearing of masks is advisory in nature.

It is reported that collective immunity in the Russian Federation has decreased, falling to 7.4%.
