THE FLIGHTS ABROAD FROM KAZAN AND NOVOSIBIRSK BECAME AVAILABLE FOR RUSSIANS
The day before, it became known about the resumption of aviation communication from three more Russian cities. We are talking about Kazan, Novosibirsk and Kaliningrad, from where it is possible now to take direct flights to the foreign countries.
Previously suspended due to the pandemic, the flights abroad were resumed from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don. Three more cities have been added to this list on 20 August.
For the moment, four destinations for the direct foreign flights are open for Russians: Tanzania, Great Britain, Turkey and Switzerland.
Moreover, according to the aggregators that provide services for the sale of plane tickets, Russians are actively buying tickets to other destinations, which are still closed. Among the most popular are Bali, Montenegro, Belarus and Armenia.
At the moment, direct flights to these countries are closed and it is not clear, when the situation will change, in connection with which the tickets already purchased may simply "burn out", say the experts.
The flights restriction that had been introduced earlier was triggered by the spread of coronavirus infection, which affected the majority of countries. Now, the situation has stabilized in many countries, but the experts do not exclude the possibility of a second wave of morbidity by this fall.
