THE DAILY ANTI-RECORD ON THE MORTALITY FROM CORONAVIRUS WAS BEATEN

The number of coronavirus victims has risen sharply - 242 people have died in the last 24 hours in the Chinese province of Hubei. In total, 1310 people, who died from the disease, died in this province. Thus, the number of deaths increased by almost a quarter per day.

The announced number of deaths per day is an anti-record. Previously, there were statistics on Monday, when 103 people became victims of the coronavirus. The number of people, infected in Hubei, has risen sharply. According to the official data, 14.840 new patients have been registered recently (almost all of them in Wuhan). At the same time, the Chinese authorities explained that a significant increase in the number of patients is associated with new methods for detecting coronavirus - now the disease is easier to determine.

In total, almost 49 thousand people are infected by coronavirus in Hubei Province. About 3,500 patients recovered and were discharged. Despite a sharp increase in the number of deaths, mortality from coronavirus still remains at 2%.

The coronavirus epidemic is recognized as an international emergency by the World Health Organization. However, a day earlier, the head of the organization, Tedros Adhan Ghebreyesus, said that the situation had stabilized, but the vaccine would appear only after a year and a half.
