THE CHICKEN MEAT FOR KFC WILL BE PRINTED ON 3D PRINTERS
It became known about the beginning of cooperation between KFC fast food chain and the biotechnological laboratory 3D Bioprinting Solutions.  Chicken meat for public catering will be created on 3D bioprinters.

The first tests for KFC will create chicken nuggets.  According to the experts, the meat printed on the printer will not differ from the usual one in any way - the taste and appearance will remain identical to the natural sample.  If the cooperation starts successfully, synthetic nuggets from a 3D printer will go on sale this year.  No chicken will be harmed during production.

We should recall that KFC is one of the most popular fast food chains in Russia - the company has opened more than 950 outlets in the country.
KFC's signature dish is fried chicken, which, apparently, will soon have a synthetic sibling.

Even if the tests with a 3D printer are successful and "printed" nuggets become popular, it will not be possible to replace all the products with the synthetic ones, at least in the nearest future.  For example, the most popular dish on the KFC menu is wings - they cannot be reproduced with a printer because of the bone.

Synthetic nuggets will be made from a mixture of plant-based proteins and laboratory-grown chicken.
Mass production is not planned in the nearest future, so far we are talking about a batch of prototypes - the new product will come to the restaurants later.

KFC has been interested in the idea of   "alternative" food that would suit vegans for a long time. Moreover, fast food cannot be classified as healthy food, but the demand for this type of products is constantly growing in the modern world.
