THE ARBITRATION MANAGER HAS ACHIEVED REMUNERATION OF 5.4 BILLION RUBLES
The Arbitration Court of the Tyumen Region issued a resolution on the recovery of remuneration in favor of the bankruptcy trustee of the bankrupt plant, the amount of which exceeds 5.4 billion rubles. At the moment, the judicial act has not yet entered into force and can be challenged.

The issue of such a large fee arose in the framework of the insolvency case of Antipinsky Oil Refinery JSC. The anti-crisis manager sold the property belonging to the company and claimed his rights to a percentage of the transaction.

The satisfied amount of remuneration is slightly less than 5% of the total amount of assets sold.

Initially, the court suspended the application of the anti-crisis manager for payment, indicating the need to settle with creditors. However, challenging the judicial act in the appellate instance led to the cancellation and revision of the position.

As arguments for satisfying the application, the anti-crisis manager cited the fact that the property has already been sold, and settlements with collateral creditors have been made. A year ago, the plant was sold at auction for 110.8 billion rubles, after which the main collateral creditors received their money.

The bankrupt company was established in the early 2000s and has existed for almost two decades. In 2019, it was declared insolvent after its own application to the bankruptcy court. This happened after the freezing of the company's assets by the High Court of London, to which VTB Commodities Trading appealed, Kommersant reports.
