Taliban invited Russia to the ceremony of announcing the new government

Representatives of Taliban (the organization which is banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) sent invitations to the ceremony of announcing the new government to six countries. Russia is also among the invitees.

Taliban has also invited delegates from Turkey, China, Iran, Qatar and Pakistan, reports the Al-Jazeera channel. It is already known that the leader of the organization will remain at his post and will continue to control the movement. It is reported that a new Afghan government has already been formed and will be announced soon.

Previously, Taliban stated that all sectors of society would be represented in the new government.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has already noted that Russia sees ways to resolve the problems in Afghanistan peacefully. He stressed out that the Russian side is helping to resolve ethnic conflicts.

Previously, Taliban announced that the new government would be announced on September 4, but now the ceremony has been postponed to the next week.
