SALE OF TOURS TO TANZANIA AND TURKEY SUSPENDED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS
Last Monday, it became known about the temporary suspension of flights to Turkey and Tanzania due to the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection in these countries. At the moment, the period of validity of the restriction has been announced: from April 15 to June 1 of the current year.

The measure will affect not only charter, but also regular flights. The day before, Tatyana Golikova, the head of the headquarters for combating COVID-19, announced that tour operators also received a recommendation to temporarily suspend the implementation of tours to these countries for a specified period.

Golikova assured that the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection would be monitored by the headquarters and, as soon as it improves, Russian citizens will be notified of the possibility of travel.

As for those who are currently spending vacations in these countries, it is not planned to organize a separate evacuation for them.

The head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Zarina Doguzova said that the vacationers travelling within the framework of organized tours and tourists who flew away on their own would be able to return to their homeland within the originally planned time frame. However, Doguzova still recommended to monitor the situation and keep in touch with the tour operators and airlines, reports Interfax.
