The European Commission proposed to open the borders for citizens of countries that still have not lifted the restrictions on entry if they are in relations with the EU residents.
The process of developing this initiative is underway. Germany has already announced its consent to the entry of Russians who are in love with citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, entry for them has become available since August 10. However, people must have a considerable set of documents with them: an invitation from a partner living in Germany, a double statement about the validity of the relationship and the proofs of previous meetings in Germany or abroad.
Proofs can be one-way plane tickets or confirmation of a reservation at the same hotel.
It is necessary to note that other countries are also interested in this initiative, among them there are the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland. However, these countries have not given an exact answer to the European Commission yet.
We should recall that earlier, Europe refused to open the borders for Russians again. At the same time, by the beginning of August, visa centers of the most European countries resumed their work in Russia, but not everyone can use their services.
