RUSSIAN TROOPS TO CARRY OUT SPECIAL OPERATION IN DONBASS

In the morning of February 24, the Russian leader addressed the citizens of Russia and Ukraine with explanations about what was happening.  The politician announced his decision to conduct a special operation on the territory of Donbass.  Its purpose is to protect people.

The President's address may be watched in the air of the Rossiya 24 channel. Vladimir Putin noted that for many years Russia has been trying to prevent NATO's eastward expansion, but has met with deceit and blackmail attempts.

According to the president, the actions that are now being taken are self-defense against the threats posed to Russia.

We should remind our readers that the day before, the heads of the DPR and LPR asked Putin for help in repelling Ukrainian aggression. After that, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, believing that this circumstance only exacerbates the brewing conflict between the countries.

The day before, Vladimir Zelensky also addressed the Russians. The Ukrainian leader asked them if the Russians wanted wars, noting that Ukraine did not want war in any form, but would be forced to defend itself. In addition, Zelensky assured that Ukraine was not a threat to Russia in the past, and will not pose it in the future. He noted that in the current situation, any provocation can become an outbreak that would burn everything, and the civilian population of both countries would suffer first.
