The new Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to prevent the spread of the Chinese coronavirus - the borders of the Russian Federation in the Far East will be closed.
In the nearest future, the population will be informed of all activities, related to the closure of the border. The Prime Minister also noted that Deputy Prime Minister, Tatyana Golikova will be engaged in daily notification of the population about the prevention of coronavirus. Vladimir Putin receives daily reports on the epidemic and the measures, taken to prevent it in Russia. The Prime Minister noted that the government is doing everything to protect the citizens of the Russian Federation from the new virus.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health called the symptoms of coronavirus, they are largely similar to acute respiratory viral infections: an increase in temperature, fatigue, cough, shortness of breath, and heaviness in the chest. The department noted that the virus is transmitted both by airborne droplets and by contact routes. The incubation period of the disease can last up to 14 days, and therefore, those, who have been in China during this period or those, who have been in contact with patients, are at risk.
For the moment, more than 170 people have become victims of coronavirus, the number of infected is close to 8 thousand. About 170 people were cured.
