ROSSTANDART APPROVED GOST FOR WINE LISTS IN RESTAURANTS
The share of Russian wines in the menu of cafes and restaurants in the Russian Federation should be at least 20% of the entire assortment. The corresponding state standard was approved by Rosstandart.



The agency also published recommendations on the design of the wine list. For example, the names in the menu should be written in Russian. In addition, the wine list must specify the producer, the grape-growing zone or area, the country of origin, the year of harvest and, of course, the volume and price of the wine.

However, catering establishments will be able to independently develop the structure of the wine list, as well as have special banquet offers or, for example, applications for summer verandas.
