ROSGOSSTRAKH COMPANY DEMANDED 400 THOUSAND RUBLES FROM THE MOTHER OF THE BOY HIT BY TRAIN
Rosgosstrakh appealed to the mother of a 15-year-old boy who died two years ago with a demand to pay 400 thousand rubles. This amount was previously paid by the insurance company to the Russian Railways company for the damage caused to the Lastochka train after it had hit a teenager. As a result of the incident, the boy died on the spot.
An accident took place two years earlier in Solnechnogorsk city of Moscow region: a child was hit by a passing Lastochka train - he did not hear the driver's signal and continued walking along the crossing. The teenager was thrown 50 meters away from his injuries, he died before the arrival of an ambulance, reports
‘Moskovsky Komsomolets’.
Now Rosgosstrakh turned to the family of the deceased with a recourse claim, justifying its claims by the fact that the boy was guilty of the incident.
In addition, the claim contained an indication that if the family did not pay the required amount out of court, the insurance company would go to court, where the amount of the claim could increase by a quarter, reports
Dozhd TV channel (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia).
The boy's mother paid the demanded amount, but now she intends to apply to court with a claim herself. What kind of claims will be filed by a woman is not specified yet.
