RESIDENTS OF CZECH REPUBLIC WILL WEAR DOUBLE MASKS

Czech Minister of Health Jan Blatny announced the need to wear two protective masks at once. Residents of the country will have to follow the new rule in public places with mass gathering of people.

Jan Blatny noted that in this case, it is possible to either wear two medical masks at the same time, or one special respirator or mask with nanoparticles. The rule must be observed in public places and transport.

Fabric masks will no longer be considered a means of protection in the Czech Republic.

Some restrictions remain in the country - not all shops are open, while a strict social distance is observed in them. The fact is that an unfavorable situation with regard to coronavirus is still reported in the Czech Republic. Many cases of infection with the British strain of infection have been recorded in the country.

According to statistics, over 11.5 thousand people were infected in the Czech Republic over the past day. The country's authorities are sounding the alarm and reporting an overload of the medical system, there are not enough places in hospitals.

It should be noted that the proposal to wear two masks at once is not new. Earlier, the head of the American Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Rochelle Walenski, recommended the residents of US to wear two medical masks to enhance protection against coronavirus.
