The Bulgarian National Revenue Agency (NRA) organized a sale of real estate - it began auctioning real estate objects, the owners of which could not survive the hard times and went bankrupt amid the pandemic. Numerous offices, apartments and land plots with romantic views of the Black Sea have been put up for sale.
Bulgarian NRA simultaneously performs the functions of a tax inspectorate and a debt collector.
The most of the objects for sale are located in the town of Byala.
This is a small resort town, where many tourists used to come to take a break from the hustle and bustle. It is located on the Black Sea coast, 50 km from Varna. 14 apartments sold in it can now be purchased for the price of one apartment in the capital of the Republic, Sofia. The total area of the property is 857 square meters. The price for all lots is RUB 9.3 million.
However, NRA employees have not been able to find buyers twice and are putting the apartments ranging from 50 to 82.5 square meters up for sale for the third time.
A land plot of over 7,000 square meters in Kavatsite, famous for its bays and picturesque beaches, is being sold at a starting price of 20.6 million rubles. Initially, this area was chosen to host a summer camp, but now the plans of the owners have changed.
In a large and noisy Burgas, buyers are invited to purchase a piano bar, the owners of which went bankrupt due to the pandemic, having lost their customers.
The closure of borders has led to an outflow of visitors - the owners of catering establishments are selling off their businesses that had previously brought good income. A bar with an area of 252 sq. m, being a place with a perfect atmosphere, music and dancing, is put up for auction for 9.8 million rubles. The establishment itself is located in a residential building that is in excellent condition.
The National Revenue Agency hopes other deals can be made. Perhaps there will be a daredevil who will buy an unfinished hotel in the village of Voneshta-Voda overlooking a mountain pass - the hotel was estimated at 15.6 million rubles. Offices in Dobrich are waiting for their buyer at a price of ˆ 102 per square meter (9110 rubles). And in Varna, you can buy 15 parking spaces at once in the underground parking for ˆ 52,620 (4.7 million rubles).
