The Berlin clinic Charite reported that Alexei Navalny's condition had improved - he regained consciousness. The doctors also disconnected him from the artificial lung ventilator.

Navalny spent 19 days in a medical coma, but now, according to doctors, he reacts to words. However, the German side hastened to assure that it is too early to talk about a significant improvement, because we are talking about the "long-term consequences of severe poisoning."

Russian experts stated that since Navalny came to his senses, it means that there was no poisoning by Novichok - the toxin has 100% lethality, and it was developed to replace nuclear weapons. As reported by RIA Novosti, other experts from Russia also agreed with this opinion, noting that in the case of using Novichok, it would not be possible to get out of the coma.

However, given that German doctors found traces of substances from the Novichok group in Navalny, experts suggested that in the event of any poisoning, a “trace” similar to Novichok could remain.

We should recall that Alexei Navalny fell ill during the flight from Tomsk to Moscow on August 20. The plane urgently landed in Omsk, and the activist was sent to the local city hospital, where he was diagnosed with metabolic disorders. Doctors assured that there were no traces of poisons in Navalny's blood, but a few days later the politician was taken to a German clinic, where, after an examination, doctors announced that he had been poisoned with a substance from the Novichok group.

The situation with Navalny also led to more significant foreign policy consequences – people in Europe started to call for the suspension of the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. Also, against the background of "emotional" unrest, the rate of the national currency has significantly weakened - euro broke through the mark of 90 rubles on September 7.
