NORDWIND AIRLINES PROMISE TO SELL TICKETS FOR 1 RUBLE
The company pledged to include a special fare with tickets for one ruble in the list of services to receive state support.

Izvestia reports that the fare will be available for one passenger flying in one direction. If Nordwind decides not to sell tickets for 1 ruble and at the same time refuse subsidies, they will be blacklisted - in the future they will no longer be able to apply for state support.

The special fare will be valid for adults flying with children under 18 years of age.

Thus, Russian families with children will be able to travel to the points of domestic tourism. It is assumed that about 25,000 tickets cost one ruble will go on sale. Among the directions, there are Kazan, Kaliningrad, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Yaroslavl and Irkutsk.

The government will allocate 1.35 billion rubles for the implementation of the family vacation program - 45 routes within Russia are envisaged. 1.3 billion rubles more have been allocated for trains - families will be able to purchase tickets in a compartment with a 40% discount.

Insiders report that Nordwind has applied for a subsidy with a minimum price of tickets in order to receive payments. The fact is that the advantage will be given to the company that offer the minimum tariff, and Nordwind did not know what prices would be offered by competitors.

To implement the program, the air carrier will receive a little more than 229 million rubles.

It should be noted that despite the presence of 45 tourist routes, airlines supported only 35 destinations. The total amount of subsidies required is 1.13 billion rubles, which is less than the government's budget. Airlines do not show high interest in family subsidies due to the fact that this category of citizens is small, moreover, the list of routes is limited, and the program itself will be in force only from August to November. The time to master the allocated funds might not be enough, since from September 1, the number of minors on flights will be significantly reduced.
