MUSIC OFFICIALLY BANNED IN AFGHANISTAN
Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) has banned public performance of music in Afghanistan. This is believed to be contrary to Islam.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced this in an interview with The New York Times. After a new government has been formed in Afghanistan, Mujahid is highly likely to take the post of Minister of Information and Culture. He said the Taliban are hoping to convince people to stop listening to music without pressure.

Mujahid noted that Afghan women will be allowed to leave their homes.

What is more, they will not have to cover their faces and be accompanied by male guardians everywhere. Women will be able to visit schools, universities, offices and hospitals on their own. However, when traveling anywhere for more than three days, the accompanying of a man is required.

It is worth noting that earlier women in Afghanistan were urged not to leave their homes for the sake of safety - they will only be able to go outside over the long term, because the Taliban forces allegedly have not yet received adequate training and therefore may mistreat women.

The Mujahid added that the Taliban are striving to rebuild Afghanistan, destroyed by decades of war, and want to ‘build the future by forgetting the past’. As for the evacuation of refugees, those who have documents to leave the country will continue to be allowed into the Kabul airport.
