MOSCOW WILL NOT SUPPORT BUSINESS AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF NEW ANTI-COVID RESTRICTIONS
The office of the Mayor of Moscow noted that the authorities do not plan to introduce new measures to support entrepreneurs against the background of additional restrictive measures introduced due to an increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus.

To a greater extent, restrictions again affected the service sector: food courts and children's play areas in shopping centers, as well as the zoos, were closed for a week. The work of restaurants and bars at night has been limited to delivery and sale of food to go.

Information about the lack of intention of the mayor's office to introduce support measures was announced by one of Sergei Sobyanin's deputies, Vladimir Efimov.

According to the official, the new restrictions have only a week's duration, and therefore no additional support for entrepreneurs is planned, reports TASS.

Last week, the daily statistics of COVID-19 cases in Moscow reached the figures of the end of last year, and the occupancy rate of inpatient beds reached 78%. The city authorities decided to create new places in hospitals and introduce new restrictive measures.

Among other things, an increase in control over the wearing of protective equipment in public places, including transport, was announced, and a ban was imposed on the use of benches, sports and playgrounds in parks. The fine for non-compliance with this measure is 4,000 rubles.

Additionally, Sergei Sobyanin announced a period of non-working days from June 15 to June 19, having obliged the employers to keep their employees' salaries.
