Housing problems continue to be a priority for many residents of Russia. Preferential programs offered for mortgage lending may be attractive for Russians who want to settle in a new building. But does everyone know about the programs operating in 2022?
Izvestia shared information about the main benefits that can be attractive to Russians and allow them to become property owners. All of them differ by region, lending rates, the size of the collateral and the initial payment.
The publication identifies five main programs of subsidized (preferential) lending secured by real estate: mortgages for housing in a new building, "family", "Far Eastern", "rural" mortgages and mortgage benefits for IT specialists.
For example, a resident of the capital can receive up to 12 million for the purchase of an apartment in a new building at a rate not higher than 7%.
To do this, you will need to issue life, health, and housing insurance (after registration of property rights). You can also take a large amount (up to 30 million), but on the terms of a specific bank.
The "family mortgage" for parents with children born from 2018 to 2022 also applies to any families with a disabled child. At the same time, the family can be from one parent or from two, currently living both in their own housing and in a rented one. The mortgage rate is less than 6%. The maximum amount is 6 million (for regions) and 12 million (for capitals).
The "Far Eastern" mortgage program can be used by residents of the Far Eastern Federal District younger than 35 years or those who own a "Far Eastern hectare".
The rate is no more than 2% per year, and the maximum financing is 6 million.
"Rural" mortgage covers all Russians, except residents of metropolitan regions. At the same time, the maximum amount under this program is limited to the amount of 3 million rubles.
IT specialists can get a loan if they work in an organization from the register of Mines. The mortgage rate for them is not higher than 5% per year. The maximum loan amount is 9 million (for regions) and 18 million (for Moscow and St. Petersburg).
Izvestia notes that the authorities have plans to combine various types of benefits for IT specialists with other subsidized programs. It is possible that the loan amount will also be increased to 15 and 30 million, respectively. This was announced on July 5 by the Government of the Russian Federation.
