A bill on granting credit holidays to SMEs has been submitted to the State Duma. It proposes to grant the right to a deferral on credit obligations to citizens called up for military service on mobilization to preserve their business.
Earlier, a similar bill was considered in relation to ordinary citizens who do not carry out entrepreneurial activities, the corresponding federal law has already been adopted and entered into force.
This bill also proposes, in addition to providing entrepreneurs with credit holidays, also changes concerning cases when a bankruptcy case has been initiated against the debtor. This is reported by Fedresurs.ru
The fact is that the current legislation restricts debtors-citizens in the rights to use funds placed on bank accounts.
The bill proposes to allow the temporary non-application of these norms, due to which mobilized citizens will be able to receive payments for military personnel to their accounts and, apparently, dispose of them at their discretion.
