Lawyers added to the list of foreign agents of Russia
The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation continues to work on adding companies and individuals to the list of foreign agents.  This time, it was replenished by several lawyers, the head of the media department, and also a journalist.

The day before, the official website of the Ministry of Justice published the news that five Russians were included in the list of foreign agents.

Among them, there were the lawyers of the ‘Team 29’ that previously terminated the activities: Ivan Pavlov, Valery Vetoshkin and Maxim Olenichev.

The head of the company's media department Maxim Zagovora and journalist Elena Skvortsova, who covered the activities of the ‘Team 29’, turned out to be new foreign agents as well.

Pavlov has already commented on the situation on ‘We Can Explain’ Telegram channel, indicating that he was not going to mark his statements with information about the status of a foreign agent.  The lawyer plans to investigate the reasons for this decision and challenge it.  At the moment, Pavlov is in Georgia.

In the summer of this year, Rusbankrot has already written about the situation with the ‘Team 29’, which was forced to cease its activities due to the blocking of access to the organization's website by the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications.  This decision was explained by the desire to avoid criminal prosecution, which could have begun.

After termination of their activities, the members of ‘Team 29’ continued their work outside the association.

Among the cases of the human rights organization, there are cases on representing the interests of the supporters of Alexei Navalny, and the head of ‘Team 29’, Ivan Pavlov, defended the journalist Ivan Safronov, accused of high treason.
