The American Jeep Corporation announced termination of the further sale of Jeep Cherokee cars in the Russian Federation. According to the official line, this decision is associated with low demand among Russian consumers.
In recent years, the model has demonstrated the lowest sales figures.
Despite the fact that the certificate for the car is valid until August next year, it will no longer be possible to sell it at Russian dealership centers. This is due to the fact that at the moment, the stock of Jeep Cherokee in Russia has already ended and it is impossible to order new cars due to the company's decision.
Now it is possible to buy only four Jeep cars in the Russian Federation: Renegade, Compass, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler. It also became known that soon the line will be replenished with three new cars.
They will be the updated Jeep Wrangler, the creation of which is to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the company. The order of the model will be available next winter, but its cost has not yet been announced. What is more, the updated Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Compass will appear in Russia by the end of next year.
