HUNGARY STARTED ISSUING TOURIST VISAS FOR RUSSIANS
Visa centers of Hungary have been reopened to Russians on August 2. The documents can be submitted by appointment.
Now the Russians will again be able to apply for Hungarian tourist visas. However, it is noted that a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 must be attached to the application. Citizens who have had a coronavirus will also be able to count on the provision of a visa, but they will need not only a document on the past disease, but also the first positive test, and then a negative one.
All certificates must be translated into English.
Hungary is ready to allow Russian citizens vaccinated with any Russian vaccine into its territory. In fact, entry into the country for Russians has been open since July 27. Hungary reported that the country has long become popular among our compatriots - thus, the restoration of the tourism industry is possible.
It should be noted that Russia has also resumed issuing tourist and business visas to Hungarian citizens. To apply for it, they need to have a negative Covid-19 test.
