HOW DO RUSSIANS GET TO EUROPE?
After reports from a number of countries of the Schengen agreement on the reduction or complete termination of the issuance of tourist visas to citizens of the Russian Federation, Russians wondered how to get to Europe in the current conditions. After all, many relatives live there, have a job or study – a complete ban on entry means significant inconvenience.

In this context, a number of experts note that, firstly, there is currently no pan-European ban on entry to citizens of the Russian Federation, and states that reduce the tourist flow from Russia can still be visited.

To do this, you can use several options. Firstly, Russians can use the route of the Russian Federation-Norway to enter the Baltic states. In this case, a citizen must cross the Norwegian border with a valid visa, and then enter the Baltic States through the land border.

As another option, Russians can make a transit flight: fly, for example, to Turkey or the UAE, and from there transfer to a flight to the European destination state.

In addition, even if the issuance of tourist visas stops unilaterally or in a pan-European manner, Russians will most likely still be able to enter European countries on the basis of humanitarian, educational or work visas.

At the same time, it is worth noting that data on the number of visas issued to Russians are currently contradictory: while a number of states declare a reduction or termination of the issuance of entry permits, representative offices in the Russian Federation report the opposite.
