FOOD-COURTS OF ST. PETERSBURG ARE BEING CLOSED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS

The administration of St. Petersburg has introduced additional restrictions related to the coronavirus. The corresponding decree was signed by the Governor of the city on November 5.



Now the northern capital ranks third after Moscow and the Moscow region in terms of the number of people infected.

New measures are introduced from the beginning of next week and will be valid until November 29. They are as follows:

-          food-courts and food placements must temporarily cease operations. The measure did not affect only those catering points that are located on the territory of airports, train stations and gas stations;

-          children's playrooms in the shopping centers will temporarily stop working, with the exception of the rooms with an area of ​​up to 50 square meters located at catering points;

-          holding mass events in premises with the number of participants over 70 people is limited. An exception is events held in the premises of cultural and sports organizations.

In addition, bars and restaurants will still be closed at night, employers received a recommendation to transfer some employees to remote work, including employees aged 65+ and people having chronic diseases.

New measures have also affected the newly married couples of the northern capital. Now, during the registration of marriage, the presence of no more than 20 guests is allowed.
