Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being recommended introducing measures against the importation of the plague
The day before, the head of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being signed a decree regulating measures aimed at preventing the spread of the plague in Russia. In it, among the designated actions, training of medical institutions and medical workers, as well as informing the population and vaccination are named.

Last Wednesday, an interesting resolution of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

It concerns additional preventive measures that are recommended to be introduced on the territory of the Russian Federation in the situation of the spread of the plague.

First of all, the document imposes a number of responsibilities on the heads of regions: it is up to them to ensure the readiness of both their executive authorities and medical institutions for the potential threat of the spread of the disease, as well as to organize measures to inform the population about the relevant issue. The heads of the territorial bodies of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being are obliged to make proposals on updating the plans for sanitary protection of territories, evaluate the hospital base, as well as train medical workers both from the theoretical and practical side.

In addition, Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being recommended working with companies that provide travel products. They need to explain the importance of informing citizens who travel to regions with plague foci about the possible risk of infection.
